ACARE at ILA Berlin 2026: From vision to action for sustainable aviation
ACARE will host an information session at the ILA STAGE AVIATION / Hall C, bringing together representatives from across the European aviation ecosystem and European institutions.

This session will present ACARE’s latest Position Paper on “Safeguarding Europe’s competitive edge in global aviation. A sectoral approach to aviation technology roadmaps and product vision (2028–2034)” and its key messages, outlining strategic priorities for the future of European aviation.

The session will also feature an exchange with experts from the European Commission (DG RTD) and the German Ministry of Economic Affairs (BMWE) on the next steps towards an “Aviation Moonshot” and future research and innovation priorities.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session and contribute to the discussion on the future direction of European aviation.
This event is part of ACARE’s ongoing efforts to support dialogue between stakeholders and European institutions and to help shape the next phase of aviation strategy in Europe.
