The ACARE Public Awareness Tool is a promotional tool that recognises the importance of the ATS for Europe, sets out the aspirations and objectives of the ATS community, describes the SRA process in pro-active terms (but also with responsive capabilities), creates confidence that the SRA process will create a portfolio of technologies to enable better decisions in a long term future and connects the SRA process to concrete benefits for Europe’s citizens.

Targeted audiences are intelligent and generally well-informed, non-experts who need to be better informed on ATS, who have an attention span of perhaps no more than 4 minutes but possibly as much as 30 minutes, who do not understand “aeronautic jargon”. They typically include: politicians, business leaders, students, journalists.
